CHARLIE FREEMAN
FREEMAN is a singer/songwriter who performs with a full band. 70's retro vibes, with a good helping of 90’s britop and a generous slice of Americana, the debut album ’Truth’ was recorded live at vintage studio Eastcote using a tape and analogue set up. Companion piece ‘FREEMAN -Love’ will come out in Summer 2019 with first single ‘London Nights’ out in June.. First five singles from the debut album, ‘Lay On’, ‘Good Times’, ‘Redemption’, ‘Weekend’ and ‘Soul For You’ have all picked up BBC radio play(including live session at BBC London and ‘BBC featured artist of the week') and have received great reviews across online blogs and magazines, some highlights of which you can see below. Streams on Spotify have been growing at 10k/week (with 50 k + monthly listeners) and FREEMAN’s next releases are going to receive full support from distributor AWAL and be targeted at countless playlists, radio stations, blogs etc. FREEMAN is with Wixen Publishing, distributed any AWAL and represented by Be Lucky PR in the UK and Gramophone Media in the USA.

FREEMAN is also an actor, starting his acting career in mid 2017 with a starring role in QIYI (Chinese Netflix) film ‘Chinatown Cannon’ and then lead roles in short films ‘Defector' and ‘A Friend in Need’. Two of FREEMAN’s songs were included in ‘Chinatown Cannon’ and the success of the film has led to a 60 day tour of China scheduled for Summer 2019 via Magic Sounds, one of China’s leading tour promoters.
In 2021, traveling through Costa Rica, Mexico, Spain, and other countries ... visit some media counting about his 2022 tour.
